Biden chills by the sea as Devon Archer dishes on Hunter to Tucker Carlson

Life’s a beach for President Biden.

The 80-year-old commander-in-chief was spotted sheltering under an umbrella at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware Wednesday as his son Hunter’s onetime business partner and former “best friend” Devon Archer spilled the beans to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The conservative personality released the first part of an interview with Archer on X — formerly known as Twitter — at 2 p.m., minutes before Biden was spotted making his way down a path to the beach, accompanied by Secret Service agents.

As the president relaxed with first lady Jill Biden, checked his phone and waved to admiring onlookers, Archer opened about how the first son leveraged his father’s political standing for business gain.

“The brand of Biden, you know, adds a lot of power when your dad is vice president,” Archer explained, adding that Hunter “was the guy that was the expert in knowing the guy.”

Archer spoke to Carlson two days after sitting for a more-than-four-hour-long interview with the House Oversight Committee, during which he recounted that Hunter put his father on speakerphone before business partners on roughly 20 occasions.

Archer repeated that statement to Carlson, saying the calls took place over a period of about a decade.

“In the rear view, it’s an abuse of soft power,” Archer acknowledged.

Beginning during his 2020 presidential campaign and continuing for years, the elder Biden has insisted that he never spoke to Hunter about his overseas business pursuits

In recent weeks, however, the White House has changed its tune to say Joe Biden “was never in business with his son.”

President Biden has been in Rehoboth Beach since July 28 and is expected to remain there through Friday before traveling to his home in Wilmington to spend the rest of the weekend.

On Tuesday night, as a fresh indictment against former President Donald Trump was handed up, the Bidens enjoyed a leisurely date night — going for an early dinner followed by a showing of the movie “Oppenheimer.”

Earlier Wednesday, Biden went for a bike ride, again flanked by Security Service personnel, and ignored questions from reporters about the Trump indictment.

The president has been defensive of his scandal-plagued son, emphasizing that he is “proud” of him even as Hunter was ready to admit last month to federal tax and gun crimes.

Archer and Hunter co-founded Rosemont Seneca Partners in 2009 along with Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former Senator and Secretary of State John Kerry. The firm had been a vehicle for many of the soon-to-be first son’s overseas business pursuits.

Those dealings are now subject to intense scrutiny by congressional Republicans.

Archer has since been found guilty of trying to defraud a Native American tribe of almost $60M in bonds and hit with a year-and day-long prison sentence.

Over the weekend, federal prosecutors sent a letter to a Manhattan judge asking him to begin the process of sending Archer away.
