Alabama high school teacher charged with distributing obscene material of a child

A Lincoln Large Faculty trainer was arrested Thursday morning at his Hoover property.

Owen Hardin Stallworth III, 27, is charged with distribution of obscene product of a baby. School officers mentioned Thursday afternoon he is no longer utilized by the system.

He was taken into custody as component of an ongoing investigation by Homewood law enforcement, Hoover police and the FBI Boy or girl Exploitation and Human Trafficking Endeavor Force, claimed Homewood police Sgt. John Carr.

Aspects of the allegations in opposition to Stallworth weren’t created public. Jail information show the alleged offense happened on Dec. 22, 2022.

Stallworth was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 6:04 a.m. He was unveiled at 11:13 a.m. following posting $30,000.

According to the Talladega County Faculties web site, Stallworth teaches enterprise/internet marketing education and learning at the college. He gained his undergraduate and graduate levels from the College of Alabama at Birmingham and is a photographer.

Talladega County Universities spokesman Griffin Hill released this statement to AL.com: “Earlier today, we ended up contacted by regulation enforcement in regards to Owen Stallworth, a instructor at Lincoln Significant School. Law enforcement educated us that Mr. Stallworth was arrested and charged with Distribution of Obscene Materials of a Youngster. Mr. Stallworth is no more time used with the Talladega County Universities.”
