Jonathon Robert Colson and Dana Renae Scaramouche, of Heshbon, were united in marriage on Sept. 9, 2023.
The groom’s mom is Jodi Servango and his stepfather is Pietro, of Pittsburgh. His “bonus parents” are Susan and Gary Buckles, of New Florence.
The bride’s mom is Patricia Guile and her stepfather is Jim, of Josephine. Her father is Frank Scaramouche, of Blairsville.
She was given in marriage by her father and stepfather.
The ceremony, which was officiated by Pastor John Johnson, and the reception were held at Pine Lodge, Chestnut Ridge Road, Blairsville.
The maid of honor was Paige Palmer, sister of the bride, and Shannon Johnston was the bridesmaid. Lorelei, their daughter, was the flower girl.
Benjamin Rolley was the best man and the groomsmen were Lynden Nogler and their boys Anthony Elliott and Aaron Elliott. Their son Marshall was the ring security.
The bride’s gown was handed down to her from the groom’s mom. Originally from David’s Bridal, it was bustled and hemmed by Beth Branthoover at Beth’s Custom Leather. Beth also made garters out of bird feathers and antlers because the couple loves the outdoors.
Dana is a graduate of Blairsville High School with education in business, marketing and accounting after graduation. She worked in retail, as a day care manager and then in healthcare. Currently she is homemaking while the children are little.
Jonathon went to Laurel Valley High School and then pursued an education at Pennsylvania College of Technology and a career in contracting and business management. They have Colson Construction Company, LLC., four amazing kids (that he loves without hesitation) and two dogs, Waylon and Charlie.
The couple, who love spending time cheering on their children at football, wrestling, basketball and baseball, plan to take a fishing excursion this year as their wedding trip.
