The University of Arkansas at Little Rock announced that it’s launching two new workshops for business professionals and community members who want to learn more about artificial intelligence-powered marketing and diversity management.

The workshops will be offered in October as part of UA Little Rock Extended Education’s professional development series, the university said in a news release. The workshop will be held at UA Little Rock Downtown at 333 President Clinton Avenue.

The first workshop, “AI-powered Marketing: A Practical Guide to ChatGPT for Marketing Growth,” will take place on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 and will be led by Seunghyn Kim, assistant professor of marketing. Participants will learn how to use ChatGPT for business marketing, how ChatGPT can maximize marketing impact at a fraction of the cost, and how to leverage AI for a marketing edge.

The second workshop, “Diversity Management: A Guide for Building Your Own Program,” will be held on Oct. 18 and Oct. 25 and will be led Otmar Varela, professor of management. Participants will learn the components of a comprehensive diversity management program, science-grounded best practices for managing a diverse workforce, and how to benchmark the effectiveness of diversity management initiatives across organizations.
