Rosemary Ann Bradford Linhares, passed away at home in Phoenix on May 16, 2023. She was born in Humboldt, Iowa to Marianne J. (Lieuwen) and Harold W. DeGroote on May 8, 1941.
She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1959 and attended the University of Wyoming.
“Rosebud” was cherished by her family and adored by the many friends she accumulated throughout her life. Upon leaving the business marketing group at Mountain Bell after 17 years, she took on contract employment that kept her out and about doing such things as delivering newspapers, telephone directories, and, most favorite of all, flowers from Phoenix Flower Shops.
She loved to escape the summer heat by spending time at her home in Humboldt. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, son, Todd (1990), her husband of 36 years, Tom (2018), and her brother, Doug (2022). She will be especially missed by her daughter, Amber Bradford, grandchildren Paige and Jacob Delbridge, Trent Bradford, Ryan (Ashton) and Justin Chiquete.
Also surviving are brothers John DeGroote (Sharon), and David DeGroote (Amy), 4 nieces, and 5 nephews. Rosemary’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Best Funeral Services, 501 E. Dunlap Ave. Phoenix, AZ. Internment at St. Francis Cemetery will follow service.
