Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Business Services, the Payroll and Accounting Specialist performs the daily operations for payroll, accounts payable, general ledger and a variety of general Business Office duties. This position also provides backup in the areas of Student Receivables and other accounting-related business functions. The Specialist collaborates with employees throughout the district and a variety of vendors and other related audiences to provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or business-related field, and has at least two years’ experience with general ledger, accounts payable or payroll accounting, and experience working in higher education. Associate Degree Required. Qualified candidates possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting or a business-related field and have experience with Microsoft Office applications and working in a professional office setting.

RATE OF PAY: $21.01 Per Hour to $25.36 Per Hour
HOURS: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week Minimum
